Our mission and strategic principles

FABERsas was founded to deliver concrete, operational solutions to institutional and corporate partners navigating the defense, security, and strategic resource sectors. Our effectiveness relies on uncompromising trust and the synergy of our leadership team's specialized backgrounds. We act wherever industrial, political, and operational stakes demand flawless execution and total discretion.

A multidisciplinary, dedicated and operational leadership

Our leadership team unites three complementary pillars of expertise — operational command, international strategy, and legal structuring — to deliver pragmatic, well-structured, and controlled outcomes for complex programs.

Denis Bertin — President — Head of operations

Operations management, coordination, crisis logistics, and operational risk mitigation

A former military officer with an airborne and transport-logistics background, Denis Bertin brings deep experience in command, planning, and conducting missions in high-threat environments. Having served as second-in-command of a 170-person logistics support unit and led civil-military cooperation within NATO, he manages operations requiring rigorous coordination and adaptability. His subsequent career in corporate insurance complements his operational discipline with structured risk assessment, client advisory, and contract execution. He oversees corporate leadership and field deployment.

Étienne Faxel — Director of strategy

Geopolitical analysis, crisis management, diplomacy, and institutional networks

A former senior military officer and graduate of Saint-Cyr, the Staff College, and the École de Guerre, Étienne Faxel provides senior-level expertise in defense, corporate security, and institutional diplomacy. Through his postings with the Armed Forces General Staff and French diplomatic missions in Djibouti, Juba, and Khartoum, he handled crisis prevention, diplomatic negotiations, and site protection. His experience also encompasses counter-terrorism operations across the Sahel and Near East. He leads strategic intelligence, high-stakes negotiations, and trusted partner relationships across Africa and the Middle East.

Franck Guyonnet-Dupérat — Head of legal and compliance

Operational structuring, cross-border contracting, regulatory compliance, and due diligence

An attorney at the Paris Bar specialized in international business law, Franck Guyonnet-Dupérat ensures the legal and regulatory robustness of cross-border partnerships and investments. With extensive practice at DS Avocats in Shanghai and Singapore advising European firms in Asia, his scope covers corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, compliance, and international contract dispute resolution. He guarantees that all operations adhere strictly to international compliance standards.

Together, our executive leadership combines decisive field execution, proven strategic insight, and strict legal diligence required for sensitive global engagements.

Discreet methodology and ethical commitments

At FABERsas, discretion is an exacting operational discipline. Our low-profile posture shields our clients' sovereignty and critical interests by minimizing unnecessary exposure. Guided by strict independence and unwavering loyalty, we implement robust third-party screening and international compliance best practices across every engagement.

"Discretion is not merely a stance: it is an operational discipline that safeguards our partners' operational freedom and security."
